- Educate you about your local real estate market – asking prices vs. values, inventory, where the bargains are, how to compete when there are multiples offers without paying too much, etc.
- Show you how to position yourself so you have the best chance of getting what you want (the right home at the lowest possible price, including, but not limited to the financing)
- Refer you to or help you find a real estate agent who is honest, professional, and knowledgeable about the area where you want to buy or about the type of home you want to buy, and who is a good match for your personality
- Stay in touch with you throughout your homebuying process, providing advice and access to information, helping you stay focused on your personal and financial goals, and encouraging you if things get difficult.
